They haven't changed, they haven't learned from their mistakes. They are up to the same old tricks of pretending to represent the conservative voice in America while they continue to import illegal aliens and export all our manufacturing capabilities.

"Miss Me Yet?" Bush Merchandise a Hit Online

The cheery image of former President George W. Bush appeared on a billboard in Minnesota earlier this month, next to the words, "Miss me yet?" It appears a lot of people think it's a fair question.

The online store CafePress saw a spike in demand for items featuring the same image as the billboard, the New York Daily Newsreports. Ten "Miss Me Yet?" items were on the company's list of its top-selling designs, CafePress spokeswoman Jenna Martin told the Daily News.

"There were no Obama-themed designs on the list," she said. "Bush has stolen the political spotlight, just like Sarah Palin did the week before when she re-surfaced with crib notes written in her palm."

38 Locals (illegal aliens) Arrested in National Drug Bust

Illegal alien is what was left out of their headline. Yep, that's what they tell us. Illegal immigration is good for your community! I'm suppose to believe everybody wants a Mexican gang running a drug operation in their neighborhood. And, if your opposed to this that makes you a xenophobe racist bigot or something. Notice how there are no pictures of the scumbags published. I guess we wouldn't want people to actually see illegal aliens (locals).

(WSB Radio) The Gwinnett County District Attorney's Office, Gwinnett Police, and the Drug Enforcement Agency release more details in a nationwide bust of a Mexican drug ring that netted nearly 40 arrests in metro Atlanta.

Besides the arrests of La Familia members, law enforcement confiscated 17 kilograms of cocaine , 188 pounds of crystal methamphetamine , 13 guns, and $50,000 cash at two homes in Lawrenceville and Lilburn.

Officials say one of those homes located at 1440 La Maison Drive in Lawrenceville contained the largest methamphetamine conversion lab ever seen in this country.

"The lab was found in a middle-class neighborhood... a white, split-level house. The only thing it didn't have was a picket fence," says Gwinnett D.A. Danny Porter. He says part of the success of the gang over the years is that members blended in with a growing Hispanic population in Gwinnett and operated inside quite neighborhoods.

DEA Special Agency Rodney Benson says with more than 300 arrests nationwide, they've put a pretty good dent in the gang's U.S. operations.
"Whether it's taking away $32 million in currency, whether it's taking away dangerous ice methamphetamine , the weapons... clearly they've been impacted," he says.
The operation called Project Coronada conducted simultaneous stings in 39 other cities including Dallas and Los Angeles. More than 3000 agents and police participated.
Benson says La Familia is known for its violence including murders, kidnappings, and assaults. He says one of the leaders is behind the murders of 12 Mexican federal police officers in July.
"We have taken a lot of dangerous people out of this community and a lot of communities over the United States and that is the focus of drug enforcement," says Gwinnett Police Chief Charlie Walters.

Just before dawn Wednesday, Drug Enforcement Administration agents launched a raid on suspected Mexican drug traffickers hiding out in a Los Angeles suburb.

Vicious drug cartels are setting up shop in quiet neighborhoods.
Moments later, the suspects were brought out in handcuffs, caught in what authorities say is the largest national dragnet against Mexican cartels, which have been expanding their reach across the United States.

The California raid was one of dozens that took place over the past two days, targeting Mexico's La Familia cartel, an organization notorious for beheadings and its brazen attacks on authorities south of the border. La Familia also ships huge amounts of methamphetamines, marijuana and cocaine into the United States each year, the DEA says.

"They're very active, they're prolific and they're extremely dangerous," DEA agent Jose Martinez said at the scene of the Riverside, Calif., raid.

The operation -- which authorities have called Project Coronado -- involved more than 3,000 federal agents and police officers in 19 states, resulting in the arrests of more than 300 people. Authorities seized $3.4 million, 730 pounds of methamphetamines, and more than 400 weapons from members of the cartel.

When Eliot Spitzer isn’t chasing skanky little whores he is a pretty smart guy. Rumor is that it was the Fed was behind exposing his appetite for strange to the public. Well, we all have our weaknesses. Rumor also was that then Gov. Spitzer stood in the way of the Fed plans to reorganize Wall St in their image and likeness. You will note his demise took place before the Wall St collapse in the fall of ‘08. It was a coup, if you will, to get him out of the way. As the Governor of NY, he had jurisdiction over the NY Fed and Wall St. which orchestrated all the shenanigans of the collapse and TARP. Obama of coarse is their guy as is the new Gov. Patterson and what ever the Fed wants – they will grant.

It is interesting to see Spitzer come out with this info now. Perhaps he is looking for some payback. This is the only place in the MSM where you will find the truth about the unconstitutional power of the Fed. Congratulations to the Slate for publishing this. I saw him on CNBC last week and was impressed with what he said. This week some Fed lacky was already on there attacking Spitzer so he must be ruffling some feathers.

So my questions is why doesn’t Fox News ever run stories like this? Where are Ann Coulter, Rush Limbaugh, Newt Gingrich and all the rest of the so called “conservative” leaders and  talking heads including “motor mouth” Sean Hannity? They are sucking up to the Fed – which is why they can’t be trusted. Now Hannity had Rep. Michelle Bachmann on his show and she was questioning the Fed but Hannity himself is silent. He is a Rupert Murdoch coward. Murdoch is a CFR media member.Even Lou Dobbs and Glenn Beck are wimps when it comes to taking on the Fed. Barry Goldwater was not afraid to question the power of the Fed. Neither is Ron Paul. CFR conservatives are fake conservatives. They pay lip service to traditional conservative values but when it comes to votes they are for the CFR and NAFTA and the Fed. That is why Newt voted for NAFTA. The CFR wanted it. That is why you you will never hear the media or few Republicans or Democrats question the CFR. They are the ones in control of the government and they are afraid of their power.

What is the connection between the CFR and the Fed? It is direct. Rockerfeller and JP Morgan were instrumental in creating both. The Fed was designed in 1913 to control our money and the CFR was designed in the 1920’s to control the government. It looks like the Fed is now taking a more direct role in our new socialist/fascist government. For decades they have pretended to be an independent government agency. Geithner was their coming out party. His appointment puts the Fed directly in charge of the US Treasury and Obama is their go to guy.

Just as the millions in AIG bonuses obscured the much more significant issue of the $70 billion-plus in conduit payments authorized by the N.Y. Fed to AIG’s counterparties, the small issue of Friedman’s stock purchase raises very serious issues about the competence and composition of the Federal Reserve of New York, which is the most powerful financial institution most Americans know nothing about.

A quasi-independent, public-private body, the New York Fed is the first among equals of the 12 regional Fed branches. Unlike the Washington Federal Reserve Board of Governors, or the other regional fed branches, the N.Y. Fed is active in the markets virtually every day, changing the critical interest rates that determine the liquidity of the markets and the profitability of banks. And, like the other regional branches, it has boundless power to examine, at will, the books of virtually any banking institution and require that wide-ranging actions be taken—from raising capital to stopping lending—to ensure the stability and soundness of the bank. Over the past year, the New York Fed has been responsible for committing trillions of dollars of taxpayer money to resuscitate the coffers of the banks it oversees.

Given the power of the N.Y. Fed, it is time to ask some very hard questions about its recent performance. The first question to ask is: Who is the New York Fed? Who exactly has been running the show? Yes, we all know that Tim Geithner was the president and CEO of the N.Y. Fed from 2003 until his ascension as treasury secretary. But who chose him for that position, and to whom did he report? The N.Y. Fed president reports to, and is chosen by, the Fed board of directors.

It's the Mexican flu stupid!

The Obama Administration in full battle mode has decided they need to change the name of the 'swine flu' to a more politically correct version. Like "man made disaster" instead of terrorism. Overseas contingency instead of a war on terror. Now they won't call this flu by its proper name. The Mexican flu. I guess we can it to the long list of undesirable things that come from Mexico including 20 million illegal aliens.

If it wasn't so stupid it would be funny. Now how about shutting the border and stopping all entrances of Mexican flu infected people from Mexico? How about protecting Americans first? Even the stupid inept republican party has been co-opted by the CFR open border frenzy. All Hannity and Limbaugh can talk about is Obama expanding the size of government. How about calling for the border to by shut you ninnies? 

This is a good example of how the Republicans have been led astray. A perfect opportunity to do the right think for America and point how just inept Obama is and all they can do is whine about the size of government and that this flu really is not a danger and 30,000 people die every year from the flu and we don't need to be concerned? While hyper political correctness tries to hold sway in America as not to offend or disrupt trade with our Mexican neighbors to the south, the official name of the new flu pandemic is Mexican Flu and not the PC terms 'Swine Flu' or 'H1N1'. 

Swine Flu and H1N1 are terms that describe large volumes of flu like viruses and not the specific strain at hand. Traditionally, pandemic flu strains are named after their points of origin. The point of origin for the new H1N1 pandemic flu, with swine flu DNA components is Mexico.

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC calls on the Obama administration to immediately close the southern border and restrict all inbound air and ground traffic from Mexico to emergencies and product delivery immediately to protect American lives from the Mexican Swine Flu outbreak. 

"The Obama administration's failure to secure our borders against a possible pandemic is putting American lives at risk at a time when days and hours matter," said William Gheen of ALIPAC. "The weak and inadequate "passive surveillance" described during Sunday's press conference is offensive to the rational mind." 

Instead of advising American tourists not to travel to Mexico, or closing border crossings and air travel gates to essential travel only, the Obama administration is treating Mexico like a 51st state, instead of separate nation. 

ALIPAC is also critical of Obama administration's failure to appoint key leadership prior to this crisis. America is entering this crisis without a secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS) or appointees in any of the department’s 19 key posts. President Barack Obama has not yet chosen a surgeon general or the head of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. His choice to run the Food and Drug Administration awaits confirmation. 

"Obama was playing golf Sunday. Instead, he should have been addressing the nation, securing the borders, and filling the gaps in our government leadership from an emergency command center!" said William Gheen. "He refuses to send troops to the border to stop the violence from spilling over or the Mexican flu from crossing into America. Instead we get second tier bureaucrats telling Americans to wash our hands and cover our mouths when we cough like a bunch of 1st grade students." 

As was reported here: Obama was in Mexico and Obama's host on a meauseam tour died the day after he met Obama. So does Obama have swine flu or did he bring it with him? He meets with the guy and the next day he is dead! Perhaps Obama should be quarantined. Or maybe he has the antidote?

Even more disturbing is this story showing missing vials of weaponized flu from an Army Biolab? Is there a connection between these missing vials and an outbreak that coincides with Obama's visit to Mexico? Is this the crises Biden predicted? What does Biden know about this and when did he know it? Is it a CFR hatched plot to create a crises and then a false solution?

We are however reassured by the White house: 

John Brennan, White House homeland-security adviser, said there is “no evidence whatsoever” of bioterrorism.

OK. Yea, that makes me feel better. If there is no cause for alarm then why did the White House declare an emergency while Obama was golfing? We find our unlikely hero Obama out playing golf on Sunday while The European Union is issuing travel warnings and inspecting all people traveling to their countries from Mexico and the US. If they are then why aren't we doing the same?

Of coarse today Obama said the Swine flu outbreak "is not a cause for alarm." A global pandemic in the making - but it is not a cause for alarm? Neither was the bubonic plague Obama!

But the UN Chief apparently has a different take on the problem. Maybe he was not out playing golf on Sunday with Obama?

To add insult to injury now a strong earthquake has hit Mexico City sending office workers scrambling out of high rise buildings and into the street for safety. That should really help things down there - but as Obama said, "there is not a cause for alarm."

Chris Simcox challenges McCain for his Senate seat

Here's some good news. It would poetic justice to see McAmnesty defeated by the founder of the Minutemen. McCain is one of the worst Republicans ever. He is no conservative. He is a CFR designated loser. He is a complete jackass. One of the most unpleasant experiences of my life was voting for this POS. Yeah I know, "he served our country." But you know what? That does not make him a great person or even a good person. Anyone that studied his service record know that he was a spoiled snot nosed jet jock that couldn't keep his planes in the air or his you know what in his pants..... 

Watch the left begin to gear up their racist rhetoric against Simcox. They have yet to discern the difference between anti-immigration and anti-illegal immigration. That is why I call them illegal aliens. I'm anti-illegal alien. I don't care what country your from. If your here illegally then you should be deported! A sovereign nation that controls its own borders and therefore it's own destiny is another concept lost on the confused left.

McCain facing 2010 primary

Social conservatives tolerated John McCain as the party's nominee, but never trusted him, and he now appears to be facing a serious primary from the right in Arizona next year.

Chris Simcox, the founder of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps and a prominent figure in the anti-immigration movement, will announcing tomorrow at an event on the Mexican border that he's resigned from the group to run in the 2010 Senate primary.

From a forthcoming release:

"John McCain has failed miserably in his duty to secure this nation's borders and protect the people of Arizona from the escalating violence and lawlessness," Simcox said. "He has fought real efforts over the years at every turn, opting to hold our nation's border security hostage to his amnesty schemes. Coupled with his votes for reckless bailout spending and big government solutions to our nation's problems, John McCain is out of touch with everyday Arizonans. Enough is enough."

McCain was forced to abandon his own immigration reform legislation during last year's Republican Primary, a move that may have cost him substantial Hispanic support to which his record could have given him access.

So he's basically getting it from both sides on this one.

Simcox, with a national base and a high profile on the right, is well positioned to give McCain a serious local headache. He'll find some allies among the conservatives who recently took over the Arizona Republican Party from McCain's allies, and he has a national fundraising base.

The Dustin Inman Society rallies against John McCain in Atlanta

A rally against the tireless amnesty advocate John McCain was held in Atlanta, GA on March 6th. It was organized by D.A. King of the Dustin Inman Society. Local patriots from the Georgia Chapter of the Minuteman Civil Defense Corps were also present in numbers. John McAmnesty was here to attend the $1000 plate fundraiser at the Westin Hotel in Buckhead. While the Republican leadership tries to put on a unified face, the reality is that the party is divided over the illegal immigration issue. Both Bush and McCain have done tremendous damage to Republican unity as they continue their assault on our basic conservative principles. After 9/11 our Border Security should be top priority for ALL AMERICANS. Now we find the entrenched political forces are placing a priority on getting illegal immigrants into America by the millions instead. Why is that? The open border advocates claim that this is the American dream and they are just sharing it.

Part of the great American tradition is in fact just that. On the Statue of Liberty it is written, "Give me your tired and poor, your huddled masses yearning to be free". It is the essence of the America spirit. America shares that spirit with approximately 2 million new LEGAL immigrants every year. Some convincingly argue that even that is too many for us to absorb. You can only dissolve a certain amount of salt in a glass of water. After the water reaches it's point of saturation the salt is no longer absorbed. The melting pot of American culture can only take in so many immigrants during a certain period. It takes time before they are fully absorbed into American society. If this does not occur then the opposite happens. Our society starts to look like and resemble a foreign country - like Mexico for example. It could be transformed into just another third world country. The current president of Mexico, Carlderon has recently stated, "I have said that Mexico does not stop at its border, that wherever there is a Mexican, there is Mexico." I would surmise that that is precisely the problem. We don't want Mexico and all of it's third world mentality and corruption here in the United States.

The unfortunate reality is that Mexico is now exporting its problems to the United States. We have a real trade deficit here. There are neighborhoods in Atlanta that are completely overrun with illegals. Local Law enforcement is not equipped to deal with the volume of criminal activity in these neighborhoods and it is a drain on scare resources. Gangs and drugs run rampant. Citizens are murdered, raped, robbed and violated at an alarming rate. Drunk drivers prowl our streets. Our jails are occupied by over 30% of illegal alien criminals (and these just the ones we catch). Jobs are lost, wages are depressed. Schools and State and local social services are overwhelmed and list of the abuses of the American way of life goes on and on and on.

Where will it end? The open border advocates tell us that amnesty is the answer. Amnesty is a proven failure. The Reagan 1986 amnesty is proof of that. It laid the groundwork the for the problem that we have here today. They tell us comprehensive immigration reform is the answer. Really? How is that the answer? If we can't enforce our current immigration laws then how can we expect the government to enforce new ones? Any form of amnesty will only encourage more illegal immigration in the future. How will that bring America security? How can we share the American dream if it is destroyed by the violation of the legal process? Immigration laws exist for a reason. The inability of a government to enforce the law is the beginning of the failure of that government and that society. Laws are the framework and bulwark of any society. Our immigration laws are fair and generous. There is a process to change those laws. Allowing 35 million illegal immigrants into your country in not the process. Yes - that is the number that is estimated by those who are far more competent than our own government. Have you noticed that they have been using the 12 million number for many years now. We know that over 500,000 new illegal immigrants cross our southern border every year. So if they were being honest it would now be at least 14 million now. But the government is not honest and they have an agenda.

So what is that agenda? The answer is simple, follow the money. Who benefits from illegal immigration? Businesses do. Employers who save money on labor costs. Wall Street benefits and the world bankers benefit. The Council of Foreign relations benefits and McCain is a long time CFR member. So big business benefits and Americans pay the price. Meanwhile, politicians like McCain tell us that this is the American dream. Seems like a nightmare to me. I don't think this is what the founding fathers envisioned. I'm convinced they would be planning a new Boston Tea party to throw of the yoke of the oppressors who lie to us about the American dream. As a society we have becomes the slaves of our new masters on Wall street and Washington who they control. As a nation we are in debt and bankrupt. Debt is slavery and we are all slaves of the debt in America.

A good friend of mine recently stated to me that, "as the great-grandchild of immigrants I am happy to share the land, it was not mine to begin with." Actually this "our land" and we are responsible for it. Just how many terrorists is she willing to share the land with? How many gangs and drug cartels is she willing to share the land with? How many sexual predators and murderers and drunk drivers? As a mother of four children, you would think that she had some presence of mind about the security and future of our country. How are we going to share the American dream if we don't take care of it ourselves? The only way to secure the country is to have a secure border. The only way to have a secure border is to stop illegal immigration. The only way to stop illegal immigration is to build a fence and stop anybody that tries to cross it illegally. Enforcement of the law is also a necessary step. Any other proposal is a fraud. We lock our doors at night for security to protect ourselves and our loved ones. It should be no different at our border. It is the only way to protect our country and all that we hold dear. If we suffer another terrorist attack and the perpetrators entered the country across our southern border will people finally wake up? Just how many 9/11's do we need to suffer through?

YOU CAN'T SHARE A DREAM IF YOU DON'T PROTECT IT.

I have heard John McCain talk about immigrants serving in our Armed Forces in Iraq. He interjects this argument as if it were a justification for amnesty and illegal immigration. But anybody that is serving in our military is a LEGAL IMMIGRANT. They are not here illegally. They came here legally and they should be lauded for serving. They should be granted citizenship for it as well. But you can't join the military if you are here illegally. It is a dishonest argument. He gets all emotional about it as if he were making some big point. It is just typical of the lies that come out of the mouth of the "straight talk express". I for one am sick and tired of the lies of politicians with ulterior motives. I'm sick and tired of politicians who serve the interests of Wall Street bankers. John McCain is one of those politicians.

Now Vietnam Veterans are against John McCain

I was proud to support the Vietnam Veterans against John Kerry in 2004 because I believed they were correct in identifying John Kerry as a traitor. I now feel the same is true about John McCain. John McCain was right in the middle of the US Forrestal fire disaster in 1967. Some claim he started the whole thing by 'wet starting' his A-4 Skyhawk which caused the Zuni rocket on the F-4 to shoot a whole in the fuel tank on his A-4. McCain escaped but 167 Navy personnel died in the disaster. Where was McCain while Navy personnel were dying trying to fight the fire? No doubt he high tailed it out of the danger area. Thank you war hero John McCain! It is possible that the whole thing was an accident, just an electrical failure but why was McCain transferred immediately from the Forrestal? Why is this part of his military record not reported to us by the media? And don't forget the fact that he crashed 5 jets. He was shot down in the last one so he can't be blamed for that. But at the same time it does not excuse all his other indiscretions. He was the son of an active duty Navy Admiral so perhaps he received a lot of special treatment. He did not have a good service record - period.

'Wet-starts', done either deliberately (the starter motor switch allowed kerosene to pool in the engine and give a wet start) or accidentally, shoot a large flame from the tail of the aircraft. In McCain's case, the 'wet-start' 'cooked off' and launched the M34 Zuni rocket from the rear F-4 that punctured the Skyhawk's fueltank, knocked the M-65 1000 lb bomb off it's 500 lb rated mount, and touched off the explosions and massive fire. The F-4 pilot was reportedly killed in the conflagration, along with 167 of his fellow Forrestal shipmates (including those who died later from wounds suffered). 'Wet starting' was a common practice among young 'hot-dog' pilots. McCain was quickly (they were still counting the Forrestal dead) transferred to the USS Oriskany (the only Forrestal crewman to be immediately transferred).

The Bible belt nominates lame John McCain

In a another stunning development southern evangelicals turn out to vote for Huckabee. In doing so they in effect guaranteed John McCain the Republican nomination. By siphoning off the vote that in my opinion should have gone to Romney they have rendered his candidacy virtually dead. Huckabee will eventually concede and perhaps for the VP spot give his delegates to McCain. Southern conservatives have been had once again by the politics of deception. Their voting power has been neutralized as an effective voting block. Now they will have to line up behind McCain in a general election but in the end Hillary will win.

There are many conservatives like myself who will never vote for McCain. What are we to do? Vote for Hillary? You notice I didn't say Obama because I don't believe the Clintons will let him win the nomination - even if they have to kill him. Of coarse they will make it look like the Republicans killed him just like they tried to blame Oklahoma on the vast right wing conspiracy. I do not wish this to happen for Obama. I've actually grown to like the guy even if I completely disagree with his politics.

The conspiracy here is not with the vast right wing but it originates in the CFR. Huckabee is a CFR guy as is McCain. I don't know about Romney - may he is, maybe he isn't. Reagan wasn't a CFR guy but he was surrounded by them. Clinton and Obama both are. So we have three open border amnesty CFR candidates left in the race. Soon it will only be two. One thing is for certain. We will soon have a new Panderer in Chief in the White House and the CFR will be still running our government. Now that is some real change!

As of Romney's announcement today I have suspend my affiliation with the Republican party. I cannot support a party that nominates a pretend conservative like John McCain. He is as big a joke as George Bush was. Folks we've been had. I will become an independent. If a candidate better than Bloomberg does not appear I shall have to vote for a democrat. Bloomberg panders to illegals while the economy burns

Before he is even out of the gate, Michael Bloomberg dooms his potential independent candidacy for president by opening his mouth. I was not to excited about a party hopping rich businessman with a Napoleonic complex running for president anyway. This statement by him removes any possibility that he would have even the remotest chance of success. Like Fred Thompson, he would have done much better if he just kept his big mouth shut and said nothing. Maybe his script writers are on strike as well.

Seems to me that this colonial like exploitation of cheap illegal labor is at the very root of our economic and social ills. But it's been a while since I was at the country club so maybe I'm out of touch with current mainstream American values. Are we now a caste society like India? We need a new generation of slave laborers to pick the cotton? Have we learned nothing since 1863? Oh - but the "beaner economy" of Bush and I guess Bloomberg is really cooking along now. Actually all of this open border, free trade, exploit the cheap working classes of third world countries comes right out of the think tanks of the CFR. So the modern day Robber Barrons have now transformed themselves into angels of light? J.P. Morgen and John D. Rockerfeller would be so proud to know that the dragons tooth of the CFR they created had grown into a full fledged beast that was, that is not and yet is ruining America and the free world.

Oh but they are making so much profit so it must all be good, right? Well - not these days. The global economy is teetering on the brink of self destruction and Bloomberg's solution is to import more illegal labor. Apparently the first 20 million wasn't enough. I guess you just can't have to many greenskeepers. Rome was sacked a number of times before she finally imploded. How many times can America stand this kind of domestic abuse?

I wouldn't have thought I could say this but Bloomberg's idea is an even more impotent economic stimulus than the new Bush tax cut proposal. Importing more cheap illegal labor? Isn't there a law against that? They ought to run him out of Gotham on a rail.

New York City Mayor and potential presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg says that welcoming more immigrants to the U.S. is the key to solving America’s economic troubles.

“Our country has tried to look inward at the very time when we should be looking outward,” Bloomberg said at a press conference on Tuesday.

“We should be trying to encourage the best and the brightest from around the world to move here and bring their knowledge, bring their capital, bring their spirit to expand our economy, and sadly, I think we are going in the other direction.”

Bloomberg’s remarks echoed comments he made in last week State of the City address, when he praised immigrants’ role in the U.S. economy, the New York Sun reported.

In that address, he also criticized “those politicians who, all of a sudden, have embraced xenophobia,” an apparent swipe at the Republican presidential candidates.

The billionaire mayor said at Tuesday’s press conference that strong foreign markets will help drive the American economy.

“We, for example, need an economy in China that is flourishing. We export a lot to China as well as import from China. We need to have a Europe that is growing — that’s where we send a lot of our exports. We need to have people from around the world come here.”

The national scale of Bloomberg’s recent remarks about immigration, gun control and other issues has furthered speculation that he might run for president as an independent this year, according to the Sun.

Adding to that speculation, Bloomberg met last week in Texas with Clay Mulford, who helped mastermind Ross Perot’s 1992 third-party presidential campaign.

Clueless in Washington - It's the economy stupid!

Today the Bush administration finally acknowledged what many have seen coming for months - a recession. It reminds me of the fat lady that went to the emergency room complaining of stomach pains. Turns out she was having a baby. "Goodness me, how did that happen?" Not only did she not know she was pregnant but she couldn't remember how she got that way. The politicians come out with their thinly disguised phrases and platitudes. Fred Thompson called it a "slow patch". Doesn't really matter what you call it. The failure to deal with it speaks volumes of the incompetency of this CFR run government.

Earlier this year on Jan 4th Bush anounced that:

"Financial markets are strong and solid" and "this economy of ours is on a solid foundation, but we can’t take economic growth for granted,” Bush said. “And there are signs that will cause us to be ever more diligent and make sure that good policies come out of Washington."

At the same time David Rosenberg at Merrill Lynch announced:

The U.S. economy has entered into its first major recession in 16 years according to David Rosenberg, chief North American economist for Merrill Lynch, who declared the downturn in a research note to clients released on Monday. Mr Rosenberg wrote: "According to our analysis, this [recession] isn't even a forecast any more but is a present day reality."

He points to the four key barometers used by the National Bureau of Economic Research (NEBR) - employment, real personal income, industrial production, and real sales activity in retail and manufacturing. He wrote that these "seem to have peaked around the November-December period, strongly suggesting that we are actually into the first month of a recession."

Clearly one of these people doesn't have a clue. Merill Lynch ought know as it was their irresponsible investment in the risky subprime market (as well as many other) has had a lot to do with this "rough patch". I think they've lost @15 billion so far.

On January 8th the administration trots out Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson on CNBC on a propaganda tour with a bunch of charts designed to convince people that the subprime mortgage crises really wasn't as bad as all that. Paulson had said in a speech in New York that the current housing correction was “inevitable and necessary” following five years of an unsustainable boom which saw sales and home prices hit record levels. What a joke these people are. No body is talking about investigating how this mess was created because they all are invested in it. Ed Kramer of Mad Money is the only one that seems to really get the level of fraud and dishonesty that is rampant in the good 'ol boys club of Wall Street and Washington and the FED these days. Business as usual.

Now Bush comes out today talking about another massive tax cut needed to stimulate the economy? Do you mean for the ""financial markets are strong and solid" and "this economy of ours is on a solid foundation"? If it's so strong and solid why do we need a massive tax cut to try and jolt us out of a recession that doesn't exist? In just two weeks it has deteriorated that much? To be honest proposing that a tax cut is going to help solve the current financial crisis (which is what it is) is tantamount to malpractice - but then they are professional politicians with their hands deep in Wall Street's pockets.

Now I don't have a problem with tax cuts but to suggest that they are going to solve this financial crises is silly. If Washington does not even understand the problem how can they fix it? The republican bobble heads will most likely soon all begin the tax cut mantra and I expect the democrats will also chime in - but only for the poor and middle class. How do tax cuts address the dishonesty and greed in the mortgage business? How do they address the ignorance of people that took out these subprime loans. How do they address the problem of illegals getting loans they don't qualify for to buy property they can't afford and really shouldn't own? How does it address the irresponsible actions of the FED under Greenspan which fueled this whole fake housing boom? How do they address the chronic problem of the government spending money it doesn't have for social programs we can't afford? How do they address the trade deficit which is the source of many of our economic problems.

Until these real problems are addressed intelligently and free from political ideology we will suffer. There are many other factors to this problem. Inflation and the soaring cost of commodities food and fuel are just a few. Washington is corrupted by the same rot that is infecting Wall Street and our financial institutions and the FED. Profit without moral guidance or the limitations that it imposes on greed of corporate America. Well, Corporate America is running our government and we see how poor a job they really do.

Georgia has been identified as the new drug smuggling center for illegal drugs coming from Mexico through Texas. Interestingly Bush has done nothing to stop this nor has Michael Chertoff. Putting the DEA under his control is like asking the Mafia to police the Longshoreman. The recent bust is massive with 67 suspects apprehended. And yes they are all illegal aliens with connection to both Drug Cartels and Mexican gangs. Just another price Americans have to pay so the elite can have an open border policy that makes them richer.

Feds bust drug ring that used Atlanta area as operations hub

ATLANTA - Federal agents this week charged 67 people, put a dent in two Mexican drug cartels that used the Atlanta area as a hub of operations and seized large quantities of cash, cocaine and assault rifles.

Details of the multistate investigation were announced Friday as criminal complaints and indictments against the suspects were unsealed.

Investigators said the arrests and seizures reinforce that the Atlanta area has become a hub for drug trafficking because of its transportation and telecommunications systems and its proximity to large U.S. population areas.

"We'll make them pay by taking away their money, and we'll try to make them pay by taking away their freedom," U.S. Attorney David Nahmias said at a news conference where millions of dollars in seized cash and drugs were displayed.

The charges were a product of investigations targeting two Mexican drug trafficking organizations that allegedly smuggled cocaine, methamphetamine and marijuana into the U.S. for distribution in Georgia, California, North Carolina, New York and elsewhere.

The drug cartels cooperated with each other, authorities said.

Authorities said the drugs would mostly be brought across the border into Texas and trucked to the Atlanta area for distribution to other parts of the country.

Criminal complaints and indictments against the suspects were issued over the course of several days starting Tuesday, and authorities have since arrested many of the defendants, though some remained at large Friday.

Charges against them include conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute a controlled substance. Nahmias said more charges were expected, and he added that the suspects would face significant prison time if convicted. Lawyers would be appointed to them if they didn't have their own, he said.

Nahmias said investigators had not yet determined how many, if any, of the suspects were illegal immigrants. While most of their full names were provided Friday, in many cases their hometowns and addresses were not.

A statement from prosecutors said 67 people were charged in federal court in Atlanta and that over the past several days 111 kilograms of cocaine, 17 pounds of crystal meth, roughly $8 million to $10 million in cash and at least 32 firearms were seized. Dozens of other people were arrested in California in an earlier but related investigation.

An agent suffered an injured ankle while chasing one of the suspects arrested in Georgia this week, and during another arrest shots were fired and a suspect was injured, Nahmias said, without elaborating. The injuries to the agent and the suspect were not life-threatening, he said.

Jeanne Assam - The Lioness of Judah

In the aftermath of the two recent church shootings in Colorado, a real American hero has emerged. Anyone would be a hero in this situation but Jeanne Assam seems to be an unlikely heroine in the right place at the right time doing and saying all the right things. I couldn't help but be impressed by her poise, confidence and humility. We are grateful that she was able to end what surely what would have been a much more tragic situation. Though recent reports indicate the gunman took his own life, there is no doubt that she played the conclusive role in stopping his murderous rampage. She is my hero!

This is a remarkable story of individual heroism. Her actions saved the lives of perhaps hundreds of people that morning. It was by her own recommendation that they increase security that fateful morning. That is being both attentive and obedient to God's will.

There was applause as Assam spoke to reporters and TV cameras saying, "God guided me and protected me."

When asked by a reporter if she felt like a hero, Assam said, "I wasn't just going to wait for him to do further damage."

"I give credit to God," she said.

Assam described how the gunman, Matthew Murray, entered the east entrance of the church firing his rifle.

"There was chaos," Assam said, as parishioners ran away, "I will never forget the gunshots. They were so loud."

"I saw him coming through the doors" and took cover, Assam said. "I came out of cover and identified myself and engaged him and took him down."

"God was with me," Assam said. "I didn't think for a minute to run away."

Assam said she believes God gave her the strength to confront Murray, keeping her calm and focused even though he appeared to be twice her size and was more heavily armed.

Murray was carrying two handguns, an assault rifle and over 1,000 rounds of ammunition, said Sgt. Jeff Johnson of the Colorado Springs Police Department.

"It seemed like it was me, the gunman and God," she said.

Assam worked as a police officer in downtown Minneapolis during the 1990s and is licensed to carry a weapon. She attends one of the morning services and then volunteers as a guard during another service.

Boyd said Assam was the one who suggested the church beef up its security Sunday following the Arvada shooting, which it did. The pastor credited the security plan and the extra security for preventing further bloodshed.

Assam said she was ending three days of fasting on Sunday when fate put her in the path of the gunman.

"I was praying to God that he direct me" in what to do in life, Assam said. "God made me strong."

Amid deafening cracks of gunfire, smoke-spewing canisters and the flight of thousands of New Life Church members, Jeanne Assam said she suddenly saw the hallways clear and a gunman come through the door.

"I took cover. I identified myself. I engaged him. I took him down," the 42-year-old former law officer and volunteer church security guard said Monday at a news conference in the Colorado Springs police station.

"I just said, 'Holy Spirit, be with me.' I wasn't even shaking," Assam said. "I give the credit to God. I say this very humbly. God was with me."
Assam, a member of New Life for only a few months, admitted she had been without sleep since Sunday's midday shootings at Colorado's largest church.

Assam said she had just ended a three-day fast Sunday. During the fasting she prayed and asked God to help her decide what to do with her future and whether she should work again in law enforcement.

"I was weak," she said. "God made me strong. What was going through my mind is how awesome God is."

Clinton damage control imposes its will on Gov. Spitzer

I read the following article with a certain amount of amusement. These politicians are such slow learners. Apparently the Clinton people realized this issue was spiraling out of control. That we could only be so fortunate. Damage control Clinton style. Having waffled on the issue at the debate, she then committed herself to supporting Sptizer's plan to give illegal aliens drivers licences in New York so they could register to vote for her in 2008. Now that has proven to be a disaster for her poll numbers in Iowa. So the only solution was to get Spitzer to back off his plan and eat some humble pie. They hope it will all blow over and the issue will fade. Wrong again Hillary! This is not the Iraq where you can vote against it after you voted for it. This is the critical issue for America. Are we going to be a sovereign nation of many sovereign states or are we going to import millions of slave laborers from Mexico to mow our lawns and pick our lettuce?

She has shown clearly that she is for immigration reform. That means she is for importing slave laborers and giving them voting rights. The high reproduction rate of illegals insures the Democrats a majority at the voting booths across America. This is an inherent liability the gay lobby has not been able to overcome. Those gay couples don't reproduce very fast - go figure. And the no children urban yuppies don't help either. So it is obvious why panders like Hillary are falling over themselves trying to get illegal immigrant voting rights. I can only hope Wolf Blizter has enough courage not to be intimidated by the Clinton people. Hillary has existed in a bubble since she first entered the national political scene in 1992. The press essentially acts as her personal staff doing their best to make her look professional. She is know by those who have worked for her as a tyrant. The recent revelations of her planting questions in Townhall meetings and the mysterious generosity of poor Chinese immigrants have added to the recent bad smell of her campaign. It takes a village of idiots to still believe that Hillary is an honest straight forward person that represents some real hope for change in America. Apparently they have quite a few of those villages in Iowa and Hew Hampshire.

I can't help but wonder what was said to Spitzer to get him to back off this plan. Perhaps she sent him a picture of Vince Foster with a note that said, "think about it". Alas, we will probably never know the truth. Obviously he is their own personal political lapdog. In fact it was probably her people that got Spitzer to initiate the plan to get illegals registered to vote in New York for her in 2008. Bill has been very little political help for her. It seems the late nights of coke and women are finally taking their toll on Bill's wits and nose! I look forward to the debate in Vegas, only to see if she has manages to intimidate all those "boys" in the press and media. We can only hope that what happens in Vegas doesn't stay in Vegas. I'm hoping for another performance like she had in Philly. She is starting to show some real weaknesses in her ability to handle some real political pressure. If the rest of the Democratic contenders are smart they will continue to gang up on her. Not that Barack O'bomber and pretty boy Edwards represent any kind of real alternative for America either. But if Russert or Blizter don't show up for work next week she will the number one suspect on my list!

WASHINGTON (AP) - Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton on Wednesday came out against granting driver's licenses to illegal immigrants, after weeks of pressure in the presidential race to take a position on a now-failed ID plan from her home state governor.
Clinton has faced criticism from candidates in both parties for her noncommittal answers on New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer's attempt to allow illegal immigrants in his state to receive driver's licenses. Spitzer abandoned the effort Wednesday.
"I support Governor Spitzer's decision today to withdraw his proposal," Clinton said in a statement. "As president, I will not support driver's licenses for undocumented people and will press for comprehensive immigration reform that deals with all of the issues around illegal immigration including border security and fixing our broken system."
Clinton stumbled when asked about the issue during a Democratic debate two weeks ago, and her new position comes the day before another debate where opponents are expected to raise the issue again.
Rival campaigns made clear they were not letting go of the issue.

In 1992 when confronted by the Flower's accusation of Bill's adulterous ways, Hillary said she wasn't a "stand by your man" kind of gal - but in 1998 there she was standing by her man who finally got caught red handed with Monica. Now she tells her Democratic rivals, "if you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen." I find that very interesting because I never saw Hillary as a Betty Crocker type of gal either? I guess presidential ambitions trump the feminist liberation ideals of her formative liberal years at Wellesley. Long gone are the carefree braless summer days reading Lenin, Mao, and Friedan with Bill at Yale. Her political ambitions would also explain why she not only tolerated Bill's adultery but zealously defended him. He was after all her meal ticket to the Whitehouse. If you are so smart why are you taking a position on Spitzer's plan for legal drivers licences for illegals that according to a recent poll 77% of Americans are against? Well, she now admits, "I wasn't at my best the other night". So even the smartest woman in the world can have a bad night. But what was a bad night has now been extended into a bad week. According to Lou Dobbs recent polls have her plummeting 7% since the fateful debate when she was outed by the now reviled Tim Russert. Funny, I always thought of Russert was one of the good 'ol liberal boys in the media. He ought to be careful or he could end up swimming with the fishes like Vince Foster, Ron Brown, and James Macdougal, but I digress into the as yet unproven allegations that she had something to do with their convenient and untimely demise. Some say that Bill is the one that had them killed but I'll confess I've always seen the killer potential in Hillary. Cold hearted, cruel, calculating, corrupt, and cool headed are some of the more dominant characteristics I've seen in her over the years. And we have seen her lose her cool now haven't we!

Pandering to illegals and "immigration reform" is political suicide for any politician of either party in America today - Massachusetts Kennedy fans(morons) excepted. In her recent interview with Candy Crowley of CNN, she stubbornly defended her support of the issue. She ought to consult with immigration flip-flopper John (I never met an illegal I didn't like) McCain on just how unpopular an issue this is with the American people. It just killed his presidential bid. It will end hers too and rightfully so as it was during the Clinton years when illegal immigration went from a trickle to a flood. NAFTA, free trade and open borders were all Clinton policies. Free trade in humans too apparently "doing the work that Americans won't do." It is a losing issue of the ruling oligarchy of international bankers and business and the one world global elitists.

So you can't say she was just having a bad night. She is finally revealing her true chameleon nature. The veneer of her "noblesse oblige" has worn off. A chicken in every pot and $5000 for every baby. Flip flopping along like John Kerry and pandering to illegals like Bush. We already have a 'Panderer in Chief' in the Whitehouse. We don't need another. Within two minutes she was both for and against the Spitzer plan. Well, apparently now after consulting with her staff she has decided to come out for "immigration reform." Now there is a platform with real populist support! All I can say is, "you go girl." I'd also have to say she looked terrible tonight on CNN. With those baggy eyes, tight bitchy lips and strident tone she looked like she hadn't slept in a week. Apparently she has now forsaken the cleavage strategy that never could keep Bill's interest for a real winning issue like "immigration reform." She really hasn't got all that much going for her, with the exception of the MSM constantly lauding her and all that dirty campaign money being laundered through Chinatown. Who would have guessed that she was such a draw with Chinese immigrants that can't speak a lick of English. And just how does somebody making $10 dollars an hour come up with a $1000 political gift for Hillary anyway? That some sacrifice! A real widow's mite.

And to add more fuel to the fire Kathleen Willey, former Bill Clinton fan, wants to pile on to poor Hillary too with her new book accusing the Clintons of killing her husband? Wow, just how far will Bill go to get laid? Do I see a pattern here? Can anybody connect the dots? Oh, the injustice of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy! Just how gullible are the Democrats? Just how desperate are they to return to power? Who could be dense enough to be fooled by this pair of Arkansas "white trash" love birds. But, there they go again and Bill's recent feeble attempt to defend his "wife" from being swiftboated seems to have backfired already. Oh - for the good old days when the Clintons could say anything and get away with it.

O.K., I admit it. I don't feel sorry for them at all! Does that now make me a part of the Vast Right Wing Conspiracy? Oh, I do hope so!

All I can say for Hillary is "You Go Girl"!
