Now Vietnam Veterans are against John McCain

I was proud to support the Vietnam Veterans against John Kerry in 2004 because I believed they were correct in identifying John Kerry as a traitor. I now feel the same is true about John McCain. Interestingly the same media that tried to cover up the truth about John Kerry is doing the same about McCain. The answer is quite simple. He is a CFR guy and they will do everything they can to protect him. The internet is not something they can control. Therefore we have this information and it does not have to be filtered by the media before we hear or never hear about it.

The fact that he sponsored Shamnesty is reason enough for me to oppose John McCain. Apparently their are enough brain-dead Republicans out there to get him nominated for president. We can see the failure of party politics in America today. I have come to the conclusion that both parties are a disaster for America. John McCain was right in the middle of the US Forrestal fire disaster in 1967. Some claim he started the whole thing by 'wet starting' his A-4 Skyhawk which caused the Zuni rocket on the F-4 to shoot a whole in the fuel tank on his A-4. McCain escaped but 167 Navy personnel died in the disaster. Where was McCain while Navy personnel were dying trying to fight the fire? No doubt he high tailed it out of the danger area. Thank you war hero John McCain! It is possible that the whole thing was an accident, just an electrical failure but why was McCain transferred immediately from the Forrestal? Why is this part of his military record not reported to us by the media? And don't forget the fact that he crashed 5 jets. He was shot down in the last one so he can't be blamed for that. But at the same time it does not excuse all his other indiscretions. He was the son of an active duty Navy Admiral so perhaps he received a lot of special treatment. He did not have a good service record - period.

If there ever was any I'm sure it is not available for our education as to what really happened on the Forrestal. We do know he was there. He was transferred immediately. It was his plane that was hit by the Zuni. I would like to hear from the witnesses that say he started it by "wet starting" his A-4. McCain has always been a hot headed, loose cannon. I'm sure if he did this it was just a stupid mistake. Can you imagine trying to get to the bottom of Navy documents on this mess? Interestingly McCain has been the goto guy for passing legislation that prevents us from finding out what really happened in Vietnam. Maybe John can provide the records of the investigation into the incident.

Surviving crewmen and those who investigated the Forrestal fire case reported that McCain deliberately 'wet-started' his A-4E Skyhawk to shake up the guy in the F-4 Phantom behind his A-4. 'Wet-starts', done either deliberately (the starter motor switch allowed kerosene to pool in the engine and give a wet start) or accidentally, shoot a large flame from the tail of the aircraft. In McCain's case, the 'wet-start' 'cooked off' and launched the M34 Zuni rocket from the rear F-4 that punctured the Skyhawk's fueltank, knocked the M-65 1000 lb bomb off it's 500 lb rated mount, and touched off the explosions and massive fire. The F-4 pilot was reportedly killed in the conflagration, along with 167 of his fellow Forrestal shipmates (including those who died later from wounds suffered). 'Wet starting' was a common practice among young 'hot-dog' pilots. McCain was quickly (they were still counting the Forrestal dead) transferred to the USS Oriskany (the only Forrestal crewman to be immediately transferred).

The Bible belt nominates lame John McCain

In a another stunning development southern evangelicals turn out to vote for Huckabee. In doing so they in effect guaranteed John McCain the Republican nomination. By siphoning off the vote that in my opinion should have gone to Romney they have rendered his candidacy virtually dead. Huckabee will eventually concede and perhaps for the VP spot give his delegates to McCain. Southern conservatives have been had once again by the politics of deception. Their voting power has been neutralized as an effective voting block. Now they will have to line up behind McCain in a general election but in the end Hillary will win.

There are many conservatives like myself who will never vote for McCain. What are we to do? Vote for Hillary? You notice I didn't say Obama because I don't believe the Clintons will let him win the nomination - even if they have to kill him. Of coarse they will make it look like the Republicans killed him just like they tried to blame Oklahoma on the vast right wing conspiracy. I do not wish this to happen for Obama. I've actually grown to like the guy even if I completely disagree with his politics.

The conspiracy here is not with the vast right wing but it originates in the CFR. Huckabee is a CFR guy as is McCain. I don't know about Romney - may he is, maybe he isn't. Reagan wasn't a CFR guy but he was surrounded by them. Clinton and Obama both are. So we have three open border amnesty CFR candidates left in the race. Soon it will only be two. One thing is for certain. We will soon have a new Panderer in Chief in the White House and the CFR will be still running our government. Now that is some real change!

As of Romney's announcement today I have suspend my affiliation with the Republican party. I cannot support a party that nominates a pretend conservative like John McCain. He is as big a joke as George Bush was. Folks we've been had. I will become an independent. If a candidate better than Bloomberg does not appear I shall have to vote for a democrat. I will never vote for McCain as president. He is an lying emotionally unstable illegal pandering psycho. He will never win a general election. That is another reason the MSM have endorsed him. He will be as easy to beat as Bob Dole was in '96.

Bloomberg panders to illegals while the economy burns

Before he is even out of the gate, Michael Bloomberg dooms his potential independent candidacy for president by opening his mouth. I was not to excited about a party hopping rich businessman with a Napoleonic complex running for president anyway. This statement by him removes any possibility that he would have even the remotest chance of success. Like Fred Thompson, he would have done much better if he just kept his big mouth shut and said nothing. Maybe his script writers are on strike as well.

Seems to me that this colonial like exploitation of cheap illegal labor is at the very root of our economic and social ills. But it's been a while since I was at the country club so maybe I'm out of touch with current mainstream American values. Are we now a caste society like India? We need a new generation of slave laborers to pick the cotton? Have we learned nothing since 1863? Oh - but the "beaner economy" of Bush and I guess Bloomberg is really cooking along now. Actually all of this open border, free trade, exploit the cheap working classes of third world countries comes right out of the think tanks of the CFR. So the modern day Robber Barrons have now transformed themselves into angels of light? J.P. Morgen and John D. Rockerfeller would be so proud to know that the dragons tooth of the CFR they created had grown into a full fledged beast that was, that is not and yet is ruining America and the free world.

Oh but they are making so much profit so it must all be good, right? Well - not these days. The global economy is teetering on the brink of self destruction and Bloomberg's solution is to import more illegal labor. Apparently the first 20 million wasn't enough. I guess you just can't have to many greenskeepers. Rome was sacked a number of times before she finally imploded. How many times can America stand this kind of domestic abuse?

I wouldn't have thought I could say this but Bloomberg's idea is an even more impotent economic stimulus than the new Bush tax cut proposal. Importing more cheap illegal labor? Isn't there a law against that? They ought to run him out of Gotham on a rail.

Bloomberg has a history of being a global elitist - so it is nothing new. I have trouble relating to his mentality but then I don't play much golf.

New York City Mayor and potential presidential candidate Michael Bloomberg says that welcoming more immigrants to the U.S. is the key to solving America’s economic troubles.

“Our country has tried to look inward at the very time when we should be looking outward,” Bloomberg said at a press conference on Tuesday.

“We should be trying to encourage the best and the brightest from around the world to move here and bring their knowledge, bring their capital, bring their spirit to expand our economy, and sadly, I think we are going in the other direction.”

Bloomberg’s remarks echoed comments he made in last week State of the City address, when he praised immigrants’ role in the U.S. economy, the New York Sun reported.

In that address, he also criticized “those politicians who, all of a sudden, have embraced xenophobia,” an apparent swipe at the Republican presidential candidates.

The billionaire mayor said at Tuesday’s press conference that strong foreign markets will help drive the American economy.

“We, for example, need an economy in China that is flourishing. We export a lot to China as well as import from China. We need to have a Europe that is growing — that’s where we send a lot of our exports. We need to have people from around the world come here.”

The national scale of Bloomberg’s recent remarks about immigration, gun control and other issues has furthered speculation that he might run for president as an independent this year, according to the Sun.

Adding to that speculation, Bloomberg met last week in Texas with Clay Mulford, who helped mastermind Ross Perot’s 1992 third-party presidential campaign.

Clueless in Washington - It's the economy stupid!

Today the Bush administration finally acknowledged what many have seen coming for months - a recession. It reminds me of the fat lady that went to the emergency room complaining of stomach pains. Turns out she was having a baby. "Goodness me, how did that happen?" Not only did she not know she was pregnant but she couldn't remember how she got that way. The politicians come out with their thinly disguised phrases and platitudes. Fred Thompson called it a "slow patch". Doesn't really matter what you call it. The failure to deal with it speaks volumes of the incompetency of this CFR run government.

Earlier this year on Jan 4th Bush anounced that:

"Financial markets are strong and solid" and "this economy of ours is on a solid foundation, but we can’t take economic growth for granted,” Bush said. “And there are signs that will cause us to be ever more diligent and make sure that good policies come out of Washington."

At the same time David Rosenberg at Merrill Lynch announced:

The U.S. economy has entered into its first major recession in 16 years according to David Rosenberg, chief North American economist for Merrill Lynch, who declared the downturn in a research note to clients released on Monday. Mr Rosenberg wrote: "According to our analysis, this [recession] isn't even a forecast any more but is a present day reality."

He points to the four key barometers used by the National Bureau of Economic Research (NEBR) - employment, real personal income, industrial production, and real sales activity in retail and manufacturing. He wrote that these "seem to have peaked around the November-December period, strongly suggesting that we are actually into the first month of a recession."

Clearly one of these people doesn't have a clue. Merill Lynch ought know as it was their irresponsible investment in the risky subprime market (as well as many other) has had a lot to do with this "rough patch". I think they've lost @15 billion so far.

On January 8th the administration trots out Treasury Secretary Henry Paulson on CNBC on a propaganda tour with a bunch of charts designed to convince people that the subprime mortgage crises really wasn't as bad as all that. Paulson had said in a speech in New York that the current housing correction was “inevitable and necessary” following five years of an unsustainable boom which saw sales and home prices hit record levels. What a joke these people are. No body is talking about investigating how this mess was created because they all are invested in it. Ed Kramer of Mad Money is the only one that seems to really get the level of fraud and dishonesty that is rampant in the good 'ol boys club of Wall Street and Washington and the FED these days. Business as usual.

Now Bush comes out today talking about another massive tax cut needed to stimulate the economy? Do you mean for the ""financial markets are strong and solid" and "this economy of ours is on a solid foundation"? If it's so strong and solid why do we need a massive tax cut to try and jolt us out of a recession that doesn't exist? In just two weeks it has deteriorated that much? To be honest proposing that a tax cut is going to help solve the current financial crisis (which is what it is) is tantamount to malpractice - but then they are professional politicians with their hands deep in Wall Street's pockets.

Now I don't have a problem with tax cuts but to suggest that they are going to solve this financial crises is silly. If Washington does not even understand the problem how can they fix it? The republican bobble heads will most likely soon all begin the tax cut mantra and I expect the democrats will also chime in - but only for the poor and middle class. How do tax cuts address the dishonesty and greed in the mortgage business? How do they address the ignorance of people that took out these subprime loans. How do they address the problem of illegals getting loans they don't qualify for to buy property they can't afford and really shouldn't own? How does it address the irresponsible actions of the FED under Greenspan which fueled this whole fake housing boom? How do they address the chronic problem of the government spending money it doesn't have for social programs we can't afford? How do they address the trade deficit which is the source of many of our economic problems.

Until these real problems are addressed intelligently and free from political ideology we will suffer. There are many other factors to this problem. Inflation and the soaring cost of commodities food and fuel are just a few. Washington is corrupted by the same rot that is infecting Wall Street and our financial institutions and the FED. Profit without moral guidance or the limitations that it imposes on greed of corporate America. Well, Corporate America is running our government and we see how poor a job they really do.

Illegal drug smuggling ring busted in Atlanta

Georgia has been identified as the new drug smuggling center for illegal drugs coming from Mexico through Texas. Interestingly Bush has done nothing to stop this nor has Michael Chertoff. Putting the DEA under his control is like asking the Mafia to police the Longshoreman. The recent bust is massive with 67 suspects apprehended. And yes they are all illegal aliens with connection to both Drug Cartels and Mexican gangs. Just another price Americans have to pay so the elite can have an open border policy that makes them richer.

Feds bust drug ring that used Atlanta area as operations hub

ATLANTA - Federal agents this week charged 67 people, put a dent in two Mexican drug cartels that used the Atlanta area as a hub of operations and seized large quantities of cash, cocaine and assault rifles.

Details of the multistate investigation were announced Friday as criminal complaints and indictments against the suspects were unsealed.

Investigators said the arrests and seizures reinforce that the Atlanta area has become a hub for drug trafficking because of its transportation and telecommunications systems and its proximity to large U.S. population areas.

"We'll make them pay by taking away their money, and we'll try to make them pay by taking away their freedom," U.S. Attorney David Nahmias said at a news conference where millions of dollars in seized cash and drugs were displayed.

The charges were a product of investigations targeting two Mexican drug trafficking organizations that allegedly smuggled cocaine, methamphetamine and marijuana into the U.S. for distribution in Georgia, California, North Carolina, New York and elsewhere.

The drug cartels cooperated with each other, authorities said.

Authorities said the drugs would mostly be brought across the border into Texas and trucked to the Atlanta area for distribution to other parts of the country.

Criminal complaints and indictments against the suspects were issued over the course of several days starting Tuesday, and authorities have since arrested many of the defendants, though some remained at large Friday.

Charges against them include conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute a controlled substance. Nahmias said more charges were expected, and he added that the suspects would face significant prison time if convicted. Lawyers would be appointed to them if they didn't have their own, he said.

Nahmias said investigators had not yet determined how many, if any, of the suspects were illegal immigrants. While most of their full names were provided Friday, in many cases their hometowns and addresses were not.

A statement from prosecutors said 67 people were charged in federal court in Atlanta and that over the past several days 111 kilograms of cocaine, 17 pounds of crystal meth, roughly $8 million to $10 million in cash and at least 32 firearms were seized. Dozens of other people were arrested in California in an earlier but related investigation.

An agent suffered an injured ankle while chasing one of the suspects arrested in Georgia this week, and during another arrest shots were fired and a suspect was injured, Nahmias said, without elaborating. The injuries to the agent and the suspect were not life-threatening, he said.

Jeanne Assam - The Lioness of Judah

In the aftermath of the two recent church shootings in Colorado, a real American hero has emerged. Anyone would be a hero in this situation but Jeanne Assam seems to be an unlikely heroine in the right place at the right time doing and saying all the right things. I couldn't help but be impressed by her poise, confidence and humility. We are grateful that she was able to end what surely what would have been a much more tragic situation. Though recent reports indicate the gunman took his own life, there is no doubt that she played the conclusive role in stopping his murderous rampage. She is my hero!

This is a remarkable story of individual heroism. Her actions saved the lives of perhaps hundreds of people that morning. It was by her own recommendation that they increase security that fateful morning. That is being both attentive and obedient to God's will.

Here is her testimony in her own words:

There was applause as Assam spoke to reporters and TV cameras saying, "God guided me and protected me."

When asked by a reporter if she felt like a hero, Assam said, "I wasn't just going to wait for him to do further damage."

"I give credit to God," she said.

Assam described how the gunman, Matthew Murray, entered the east entrance of the church firing his rifle.

"There was chaos," Assam said, as parishioners ran away, "I will never forget the gunshots. They were so loud."

"I saw him coming through the doors" and took cover, Assam said. "I came out of cover and identified myself and engaged him and took him down."

"God was with me," Assam said. "I didn't think for a minute to run away."

Assam said she believes God gave her the strength to confront Murray, keeping her calm and focused even though he appeared to be twice her size and was more heavily armed.

Murray was carrying two handguns, an assault rifle and over 1,000 rounds of ammunition, said Sgt. Jeff Johnson of the Colorado Springs Police Department.

"It seemed like it was me, the gunman and God," she said.

Assam worked as a police officer in downtown Minneapolis during the 1990s and is licensed to carry a weapon. She attends one of the morning services and then volunteers as a guard during another service.

Boyd said Assam was the one who suggested the church beef up its security Sunday following the Arvada shooting, which it did. The pastor credited the security plan and the extra security for preventing further bloodshed.

Assam said she was ending three days of fasting on Sunday when fate put her in the path of the gunman.

"I was praying to God that he direct me" in what to do in life, Assam said. "God made me strong."

Amid deafening cracks of gunfire, smoke-spewing canisters and the flight of thousands of New Life Church members, Jeanne Assam said she suddenly saw the hallways clear and a gunman come through the door.

"I took cover. I identified myself. I engaged him. I took him down," the 42-year-old former law officer and volunteer church security guard said Monday at a news conference in the Colorado Springs police station.

"I just said, 'Holy Spirit, be with me.' I wasn't even shaking," Assam said. "I give the credit to God. I say this very humbly. God was with me."
Assam, a member of New Life for only a few months, admitted she had been without sleep since Sunday's midday shootings at Colorado's largest church.

Assam said she had just ended a three-day fast Sunday. During the fasting she prayed and asked God to help her decide what to do with her future and whether she should work again in law enforcement.

"I was weak," she said. "God made me strong. What was going through my mind is how awesome God is."

Clinton damage control imposes its will on Gov. Spitzer

I read the following article with a certain amount of amusement. These politicians are such slow learners. Apparently the Clinton people realized this issue was spiraling out of control. That we could only be so fortunate. Damage control Clinton style. Having waffled on the issue at the debate, she then committed herself to supporting Sptizer's plan to give illegal aliens drivers licences in New York so they could register to vote for her in 2008. Now that has proven to be a disaster for her poll numbers in Iowa. So the only solution was to get Spitzer to back off his plan and eat some humble pie. They hope it will all blow over and the issue will fade. Wrong again Hillary! This is not the Iraq where you can vote against it after you voted for it. This is the critical issue for America. Are we going to be a sovereign nation of many sovereign states or are we going to import millions of slave laborers from Mexico to mow our lawns and pick our lettuce?

She has shown clearly that she is for immigration reform. That means she is for importing slave laborers and giving them voting rights. The high reproduction rate of illegals insures the Democrats a majority at the voting booths across America. This is an inherent liability the gay lobby has not been able to overcome. Those gay couples don't reproduce very fast - go figure. And the no children urban yuppies don't help either. So it is obvious why panders like Hillary are falling over themselves trying to get illegal immigrant voting rights. I can only hope Wolf Blizter has enough courage not to be intimidated by the Clinton people. Hillary has existed in a bubble since she first entered the national political scene in 1992. The press essentially acts as her personal staff doing their best to make her look professional. She is know by those who have worked for her as a tyrant. The recent revelations of her planting questions in Townhall meetings and the mysterious generosity of poor Chinese immigrants have added to the recent bad smell of her campaign. It takes a village of idiots to still believe that Hillary is an honest straight forward person that represents some real hope for change in America. Apparently they have quite a few of those villages in Iowa and Hew Hampshire.

I can't help but wonder what was said to Spitzer to get him to back off this plan. Perhaps she sent him a picture of Vince Foster with a note that said, "think about it". Alas, we will probably never know the truth. Obviously he is their own personal political lapdog. In fact it was probably her people that got Spitzer to initiate the plan to get illegals registered to vote in New York for her in 2008. Bill has been very little political help for her. It seems the late nights of coke and women are finally taking their toll on Bill's wits and nose! I look forward to the debate in Vegas, only to see if she has manages to intimidate all those "boys" in the press and media. We can only hope that what happens in Vegas doesn't stay in Vegas. I'm hoping for another performance like she had in Philly. She is starting to show some real weaknesses in her ability to handle some real political pressure. If the rest of the Democratic contenders are smart they will continue to gang up on her. Not that Barack O'bomber and pretty boy Edwards represent any kind of real alternative for America either. But if Russert or Blizter don't show up for work next week she will the number one suspect on my list!

And poor Hillary Clinton still can't make up her mind. This latest statement completely contradicts what she told Candy Crowley of CNN just one week ago! The US Senate just took the biggest drubbing ever by the American people on this issue and she still doesn't get it? If she hadn't been so busy running fior president she might have learned something by the defeat of Shamnesty.

Clinton Says No to Licenses for Illegals

WASHINGTON (AP) - Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton on Wednesday came out against granting driver's licenses to illegal immigrants, after weeks of pressure in the presidential race to take a position on a now-failed ID plan from her home state governor.
Clinton has faced criticism from candidates in both parties for her noncommittal answers on New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer's attempt to allow illegal immigrants in his state to receive driver's licenses. Spitzer abandoned the effort Wednesday.
"I support Governor Spitzer's decision today to withdraw his proposal," Clinton said in a statement. "As president, I will not support driver's licenses for undocumented people and will press for comprehensive immigration reform that deals with all of the issues around illegal immigration including border security and fixing our broken system."
Clinton stumbled when asked about the issue during a Democratic debate two weeks ago, and her new position comes the day before another debate where opponents are expected to raise the issue again.
Rival campaigns made clear they were not letting go of the issue.
